Article 1 – Organization
Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer guarantees the trip organization or the stay and responsible of its good execution, in exception on case of absolutely necessity or a fact from third party.
Article 2 – Risks
Each participant is aware that they may face some risks due to the distance of health centre, in view of some trips character we organize. They take the risk with full knowledge of the facts and commit to not take Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer responsible of. This applies as well for interested party and all members of the family. If circumstances oblige, because of climates or unexpected events and in particular for the safety of the group, Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer reserves a right directly or through their guides to substitute means of transportation, a lodging by other equivalent, a back up itinerary, as well as the dates or departure hours, without expenses from the participants. Each participant should conform to all safety rules and follow the guide’s counsels. Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer cannot be taken as responsible to some accidents that may happen due to the imprudence of a member of the group or the group itself.
Concerning the risks and delays related to flight services executed by airline companies, Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer cannot be taken as responsible and any compensation cannot be requested. Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer helps the customers with the best they can, but then this one should turn to the companies.
Article 3 – Insurance
Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer subscribes an insurance Civil and Professional Responsibility applied to tourism agency in Madagascar and covered only the territory of Malagasy Republic. It is advised to the customers to subscribe an insurance of annulment and medical repatriation.
Article 4 – Cost adjustment
The costs showed in our program are in euros in the contract, per person, and was established according to the economic circumstances in force. A costs increase or decrease related to the fluctuation of the exchange rate, a costs increase applied by the service contractors, an increase of gas price, of legal taxes, can obliged Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer to review their costs. If the increase exceeds the 10%, the traveller has the possibility to cancel the trip, without charge, within the 5 days following convey of information by Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer.
Article 5 – Subscription
All subscriptions are subject of payment of 50% installment. The remnant is to be paid at least 30 days before the beginning of the trip. If the remnant is not received by us at the set deadline, Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer has the right to cancel the reservation without compensation.
Article 6 – Cancellation fees
If, by some reason, you have to cancel the trip, the paid amount will be retained according to the following list:
- 30 to 21 days before the departure: 30% of the trip cost.
- 20 to 8 days before the departure: 50% of the trip cost.
- 7 to 3 days before the departure: 75% of the trip cost.
- 2 days before the departure: 100% of the trip cost
In case of absolutely necessity that may threaten the security of the customers, Voyages Bourdon-Gondwana Explorer has the right to cancel the trip and will reimburse the whole paid amount without any charge.
Article 7 – Modifications
A customer cannot make some modifications or shorten his / her stay. If the full program is not used in totality voluntarily by the customer, this one cannot pretend to receive any compensation. A customer cannot also quit a tour at his will without informing the tour operator staff. In this case, any compensation will be executed.
Article 8 – Complaints
All complaints should be done through fax or sent via email with acknowledgement of receipt (A/R) or by mail with A/R at least 30 days after the customer returns. Passing this period, any complaint letter is subject of investigation from our part.
