SUSTAINABLE TOURISM POLICY: GONDWANA EXPLORER'S COMMITMENT
Gondwana Explorer's sustainable tourism policy is simply a commitment to the idea of working ethically, socially and environmentally.
We envision the future with the commitment to leave nature's heritage in the best condition we have found it. We exercise our vocation in the conviction that all travelers can better and more efficiently use and share the resources and riches offered by nature. In this way, the results would be the reduction of the environmental burden of humanity and a better distribution of these wealth and resources.
We intend to develop our approach by focusing on community tourism in the regions we offer in our itineraries. Thanks to our partnerships with local stakeholders, we plan to involve more local villagers and continue to work to increase the funds directly paid to the communities with which we work, not only thanks to the donations made but with our visits.
Our goal is to diversify and strengthen, while advocating the development and management of "responsible and sustainable" destinations that allow increased participation by the community.
Our mission is to advocate and encourage the adoption of ecotourism as a financial and ecologically sustainable tool for development in Madagascar.
Our vision is to make Madagascar a destination with a more environment-friendly future.
