The bush camp is located at the edge of a lake, facing a Tsingy massif near the Ankarana National Park, not far from the Mahavavy River. The natural site is beautiful.
Accommodation :
Iharana Bush Camp is the most unusual bush encampment in Madagascar: here, the synthetic tents are replaced by beautiful natural structures in mud. The rooms are made up of eight "cottages" or "cabanas". The "organic" architecture is inspired by the traditional Malagasy habitat: ocher and laterite earthen walls, satrana roofs (palm), plant partitions - wood, roots, lianas, granite. The combination of materials gives the camp a very original character, in complete harmony with its environment. Here we are in nature: no T.V, no phone, no air conditioning but a team of young Malagasy, mostly from the place, smiling and available to make you enjoy the serenity of the great outdoors or you can discover the surroundings from the camp (discovery of the village life, the Mahavavy river, walk around the massif, visit the caves burials of the ethnic group that people the region of Ankarana, Antankarana ...). Iharana Bush Camp offers: an ideal location to the Ankarana National Park, the possibility of a real immersion in the heart of the Malagasy bush, charm and authenticity with minimal impact on the environment.
